We rebuild the image from its pixels, without copying the original EXIF, GPS, XMP, or text metadata. JPGs are re-encoded and may change slightly in quality and size. Output can contain basic technical encoder information. Visible text and details in the picture are not removed.
Will this remove the location stored by my camera?
Embedded GPS metadata is not carried into the rebuilt image. A location visibly shown in the picture will remain.
Is the original photo changed?
No. You download a new image. Your original file remains where you saved it.
What happens to my files?
Your browser processes them on your device. We never receive, save, or keep a copy. Clearing the tool or closing the page releases its working files; any downloads you saved remain on your device. Read our privacy promise.
