Good to know
Choose a placement, then crop to fill or keep the whole image on a colored background. Presets describe output canvases; the publishing app can apply additional crops. JPG and PNG outputs are still images. Larger dimensions cannot restore missing detail.
Which shape should I choose for a standard Pin?
The standard portrait preset uses a 2:3 canvas at 1000 × 1500 pixels. Longer Pins may be cropped in the feed; the long preset includes a reminder.
Will my photo be stretched?
No. Cropping fills the selected shape without stretching. Keep the whole image fits it inside the canvas and fills any remaining space with your chosen background color.
Are these official required sizes?
Presets labeled Platform guidance follow the linked platform guidance. Suggested canvases are practical starting sizes, not official requirements. Check the placement preview before publishing, especially for ads.
